How do I extend credit to a family or friend?
The first step on Giving Credit is to invite your friends and family by extending them credit. Doing so lets them know you would be willing to lend to them in the future if needed. And they can do the same for you. Follow these steps:
Log into Giving Credit
On the home screen, go to the “Supporting Others” section and click “Invite others.”
Follow the instructions on the form by providing their name and how much you are willing to lend to them.
Click Share. A link will be provided for you to send to them via SMS, WhatsApp, Email, or any other way you communicate with them.
Congrats! You have now started to map your social credit network!
They will accept the invite and join Giving Credit. At that time, you will see them on your list of people you would lend to on the home screen.
If needed, you can always resend the link to them, and at any time, you can change the amount of credit you are extending.
